About us
Hop-It Holidays is based in a residential home in Tamworth, West Midlands UK. We are fully insured and I have a diploma lvl 3 in Rabbit care and welfare as well as a lvl 3 diploma in Guinea Pig care, welfare and behaviour.
We love bunnies and all small furry creatures. We only board Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Hamsters and the like as I am severely allergic to cats, dogs and ferrets.
We have been running 5 years now and have seen many small creatures pass through our doors, we do our best to promote all the 5 freedoms now assigned to rabbits via the RWAF and help to educate owners about accommodation, diet and exercise.
At Hop-It Holidays we do our best to give all animals that stay with us the care and attention they need, to compliment their needs and temperament.
All animals are different and bunnies no less so.
We give all pets space to exercise either in the garden or in indoor pens daily and provide 50sq feet cottages, good sized outdoor hutches and pens for rabbits used to being outdoors and large pens indoors for those indoor bunnies.
I have been an owner rabbits and birds for years and understand them, I hope, as much as any pet owner can do.
I have completed the PDSA, What Rabbits Need Course (see certificate below) and have a NVQ level 3 Diploma in Rabbit Anatomy, physiology and psychology, so you can be assured your rabbits are in the hands of someone who truly cares and has more that just a basic understanding of a rabbits needs.
I have 2 rabbits myself and I know when going on holiday, finding someone to look after them, someone that truly understands rabbits is very difficult. They are not rodents, they need fibre and lots of it, they have special exotic requirements most people do not understand: Hay, pellets, veggies, daily exercise, human contact etc.

I am offering rabbit boarding in the Midlands UK area, (and other small pets) in my pet friendly house and garden, 20x20m full of grass and toys. Or house sit your pets in their natural habitat "your home" by visiting daily or as per your requirements.

My only conditions are that
1. your pet is fully vaccinated (RABBITS ONLY - Myxomatosis & RVHD v1 & RVHD v2) and
2. you have had a full check up of your little one(s) at a vets in the last 6 months. So then we both know they are in fine fettle.
Proof of Vaccination is needed prior to their stay and vaccination forms brought with you on the date of drop off Vaccinations should cost £26 or so for the duel shot/year. and around £29 for the new RVHD v2 vaccine
COTTAGES NOT HUTCHES!!

If you wish to bring your own cage, feel free. I offer guests the biggest accommodation (rabbits and small mammals only) for the duration of their stay so they are happy, healthy and will get daily exercise indoors or weather permitting, the sunny garden. With plenty of room to flop and stretch, loads of organic grown grass as well as home made toys, means your rabbit will have just a great a holiday as you..
Please bring them in an appropriate pet carrier for their travel time.

Great boarding facility for our house rabbits - kept safe and warm indoors with someone who understands and loves rabbits. We were able to watch them on holiday via a webcam too :-)

It was our first time finding a bunny boarder since we got Ralph. So we was a little worried trying to find one. We then found Hop-It Holidays. As soon as we saw the great reviews. We decided to contact Tracey who was great to deal with and explained the whole process making it all stress free. Ralph enjoyed his time here. He settled in straight away and that's all down to Tracey who has great knowledge and passion for looking after rabbits. We really enjoyed the fact that we could go online and watch Ralph on the camera to mainly make sure he was behaving himself. I would most definitely recommend Tracey.

We were really worried about leaving our house rabbit Hugo while we went on holiday to the point we just nearly never booked one.. then we found Tracey! As soon as we met her we knew our boy would be in very safe hands. He always seemed relaxed and content when we saw him on her live camera link ( amazing idea!!!) and he has come home with a lovely much needed hair cut and nail trim. I will recommend Hop it Holidays to anyone & everyone who will listen & if we ever need boarding for Hugo again Tracey will be the first person I contact. Thank you so much for looking after our boy so well on his holiday

Our five bunnies have stayed there twice this summer, and are going back for a few days in August. Three of our buns are quite high maintenance - Izzy needs eye drops and artificial tears several times a day, plus metacam. Alex and Phyllis are elderly and can get quite messy because they don't wash themselves as well as they used to. Tracey keeps them immaculate, always checking bums and paws, so we don't have to worry whilst we are away. Izzy's eyes can get quite gunky, we have to bathe them regularly. They were beautifully clean when we collected her. I would highly recommend Hop-it Holidays, especially for buns who need that bit of extra care :-)
